but..... while doing my cellb tut just now. the last part was about nucleus and cell walls being present or absent in a red blood cell , muscle cell, Streptococcus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae .....

ok. RBC i totally didnt have a clue. but i know they dont have a cell wall because they can burst-_- . (rite?O.O)

and muscle walls i didnt really have a clue either.....
but I KNEW CELL WALLS WERE PRESENT IN Streptococcus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae... because Streptococcus( ok im sick of italicsing it...) is a type of bacteria... and S. cerevisiae is fungi..

but dennn.. i didnt know at that time whether both had a nucleus or not!!
OMG .!!! ( i think because i realised that there wasnt any nucleus drawing in E.coli during microscopy observation.... but im not making any sense now arent i? because E.coli IS A TYPE OF BACTERIA and bacteria are prokaryotes....and prokaryotes DO NOT HAVE A NUCLEUS!) -____________-

Mammalian erythrocytes have nuclei during the early phases of development but extrude them as they mature to provide space for haemoglobin.( i just noticed i accidently wrote haemoAGGLUTINATION on my notes... this is what HPI agglutination lab reports can do to me.). Mitochondria are also extruded and thus RBCs' do not use up the oxygen that they transport . Mitochondria uses oxygen to synthesize ATP, energy for the cell.
Due to a lack of nuclei and membrane bound organelles, RNA cannot be synthesized and thus RBCs' cannot divide or repair themselves.
